Ideuma Creek - Support & Services
We fully realize investing in alpacas can be every bit intimidating as it is exciting. Please know we stand behind every alpaca we sell and every service we provide 100%. Please visit us, meet us, and ask for references. We pride ourselves in our reputation and going beyond expectations in every way possible.
Just born in the summer 2009, Sonia is the first full Accoyo female Invasion cria born here at our farm. And, boy-oh-boy, is she nice! Sonia has exceptionally long staple length, very soft, fine fiber and a very typey, stout conformation with coverage to die for. Her genetics include Invasion, Royal Avenger, Royal Fawn, Felix and Victor. She's a powerhouse of Accoyo genetics.
We are trying to make space in the barn for our 2010 cria so we have her priced to sell at just $9500. Sonia is the best alpaca investment we've seen in today's market!
Experience - John and I have been raising alpacas for 13 years and have produced nearly 100 cria here on our farm. We do virtually everything on the farm ourselves from John buiding the first barn and designing our pasture setups to Denise being the webmaster of our website and the buyer for our store products.
References - We've sold almost 150 alpacas to farms all over the U.S. - to farms in Colorado, Tenessee, Michigan and many states inbetween. We've helped brand new farms get started as well as help established farms add color and quality to their existing herds.
Selection - With nearly 70 alpacas on our farm to choose from, you're sure to find one or two that appeal to you! We offer huacaya alpacas in every color from top-notch full Peruvian bloodlines, and we have one of the larger full Accoyo herds on the East Coast.
Support - Our alpacas are our family. We will continue to care for them even after they leave our farm. We offer as much support as the individual farm we are selling to needs or desires. This includes reference books, videos, phone calles, e-mails, farm visits, website design and marketing help, farm store set up, emergency calls and visits in the middle of the night, etc. Anything you need, we'll provide if we can! People who purchase our alpacas become our life-long friends. Their success is important to us.
Herdsires - Our herdsire list is extensive! It contains carefully selected diverse bloodlines filled with quality and color to match the needs of just about any female. Several are champions. Many are blue ribbon winners and all come from impressive lineages. Most have a good number of cria on the ground so you can see just what each sire is capable of producing. We are continually on the lookout for genetics that will help our herd and the herds of our clients.
Farm Set Up - We have helped many new farms convert their existing barns into alpaca barns. John can assist with barn design and pasture set up and rotation. We can offer support and experience with all aspects of helping new farms get established - from feeding recommendations to routine maintenance and vaccination schedules.
Store Set Up - We believe a small farm store is an important aspect to all alpaca farms. Denise loves to help get farms started with this. We've been selling alpaca garments and gifts in our farm store, our on-line store, on consignemnt at other stores and at fairs and festivals for as long as we've owned alpacas.
Marketing - Having sold nearly 150 alpacas, we consider ourselves to be rather successful. We have done all of our marketing ourselves - from designing and updating our website and on-line store to creating pamphlets and designing promotional materials for our farm. Again, we're happy to share what has worked for us.
Packages - Considerable (and I mean ridiculous!) discounts are given to purchases of multiple animals from our farm. Having alpacas leave our farm is the hardest part of the business for us. It is much easier on the alpacas (and on us!) if two or more buddies make the transition to their new home together. We try to encourage this to happen with very nice (even ridiculous) package prices.
