Reserve Color Champion, 4 Time Blue Ribbon Winner, Solid True Black, Full Peruvian, Son of AOBA National Conference Reserve Color Champion, More than 10 ribbons to his name. Sure, we're proud to have Scotty here on our farm. We can now proudly add producer of true black multiple color champion, Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Marnia, to his list of attributes.

Scotty has produced several blue ribbon cria proving that he can pass on his exceptional fleece qualities & excellent typey conformation to his offspring. At the Western NY Show, his cria took two blues (in grey and black) and a color championship in black!

We love the rich, wonderful array of colors that alpacas come in. We want a rainbow of natural colors grazing in our fields. We don't, however, want to sacrifice the soft, fine fleece that is so often associated with the lightest colored alpacas. Here too, Scotty has what it takes. Judges have made comments (right before handing him a blue ribbon!) on his density, consistent crimp throughout his blanket and on his outstanding fineness and handle. What is equally important (or perhaps even more important) is that Scotty is keeping his fineness and density as he matures. He recently took a 1st place ribbon at the 2005 Buckeye Classic in a mature true black class. The judge placed him 1st & commented on the wonderful hand of his fleece for an older male.

In his last show, the 2005 PAOBA Breeders Showcase, Scotty was awarded a blue ribbon by Jude Anderson who placed him 1st based on his density, fineness, hand & excellent conformation.

We are proud to add Scotty's genetics to our herd. Come & visit. We are confident you will be just as impressed as we are with his show record, the feel of his fleece, his conformation & his presence. He resides here at Ideuma Creek all year.

Scotty's Full Peruvian Black 2X CHAMPION Daughter is for Sale!

Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Marnia is a two time fleece champion in true black.  She also has 3 blue ribbons - all from her very first year showing!  Marnia is a great investment.  You can't go wrong with a full Peruvian true black CHAMPION!  Priced to sell at $19,500, Marnia comes with a breeding to the Ideuma Creek herdsire of your choice.  We'd reommend our blue ribbon silver grey herdsire, Silver Bullet.  This pairing should produce a full Peruvian black or grey cria for you from two blue ribbon parents.  For more information about Marnia, e-mail us at djacobus@mkl.com
Scotty's Daughter, Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Samantha is SOLD to Dry Creek Alpacas in Holyoke, Colorado!
Congratulations to Donna & Kameron Knight of Dry Creek Alpacas.  They recently purchased Samantha for their herd out in Colorado.  She's a two time blue ribbon winner with some gorgeous rose-grey fleece.  Sam will be bred to Accoyo Invasion before she goes to her new home, but her second breeding will be to Dry Creek's new silver grey multiple champion herdsire, Silver Shadow.  Thank you, Donna & Kameron.  You can visit Dry Creek's website at
