Alpaca blends are easy to care for! Simply machine wash in cold water and air dry or machine dry on low heat. Alpaca blended with nylon, spandax, cotton, acrylic, etc. can be cared for in this manner.
Items made with 100% alpaca should be given slightly more consideration when cleaning. Hand wash or machine wash in cold water only on the gentle cycle. Do not use heat to dry items made with 100% alpaca fiber. They will certainly shrink!
Alpaca garments can also be dry cleaned but this certainly isn't necessary.
